The school choir rehearse every Wed between 1.10 and 1.40. Students from every year are welcome to attend these rehearsals. Rehearsal time is used to learn songs for the Junior & Leaving Certificate music practical exams, carol service, school musical, school Masses and other school occasions.

 

 

 

Lunchtime recitals by students take place regularly throughout the school year. Recitals take place between 1.15 and 1.35, giving students ample time to have lunch beforehand and organise books for class afterwards.These recitals give students an opportunity to show off their performing skills, as well as giving music students a chance to practise for the performing element of the Junior Cert and Leaving Cert examinations. Entrance to the lunchtime recitals is free and all students are welcome to attend. Students who have not chosen music as a subject for Junior or Leaving Cert are also welcome to participate in these recitals.

 

 

 

Members of the school choir take part in a carol service every December.
